We anchored off Punte del Este, Uruguay under cloudy skies and brisk winds.  We had been here before and will return in 4 days time so we opted to have a restful day on the ship.  Hopefully the weather will be better on Dec 7 when we return.  Punta del Este is purely a resort city on the Rio del la Plata with high rise condos, beaches, restaurants & shops.  It's an expensive high end destination that attracts not only Brazilians & Argentines but also Europeans.  We should have more close up photos next time.  We remained until 11:00pm because the next port, Montevideo, is close by.  The evening weather got clear & calm and there was a pool deck BBQ for dinner and dancing under the stars afterwards.  We opted to eat in the quiet and uncrowded restaurant.
