We have a full day at sea on our way from Rio to Salvador da Bahia.  The sun was shining but the wind was so strong that the walking (top) deck was closed.  It was a nice leisure day with lectures, but no outdoor games due to the wind.  The new crowd on board since Rio is far better than the last group.  They dress appropriately and are nice to everyone.  The staff is relieved also.  The Christmas decorations are up around the ship.  It was the Captain's welcome aboard cocktail party in the theater where the senior officers are introduced and afterwards officers host tables at dinner.  We joined General Manager Michael Coghlan and his wife Stephanie for dinner.  The table had the 3 couples who have been on the longest this cruise.  The Jean Ann Ryan Singers & Dancers performed their Broadway show after dinner.
