At 5:30am a group of us met with the chefs and F&B Mgr on the dock and went to the 2 Manaus fish markets to buy fish for the ship. We first went to the one in the Municipal Market and some fish were purchased and then we went to the floating dock where the fishing boats tie up to offload their catch.  Unfortunately the port agent didn't take us there at sunrise because most of the fish were already bought and carried away.  The chef did find a small pirarucu weighing only 78 kg (170lb.)  There was a 150kg fish (330lb) available, but they aren't as good to eat.  The fish will be grilled on the pool deck in 2 days time when we have a sea day.
